Risky-Play Intro-Workshop
Join Out and About for our Risky Play Workshop for Parents, a hands-on session designed to help families understand the importance of risky play in child development. Learn how to step back with confidence, step in when needed, and use supportive language that fosters independence, resilience, and self-awareness. Participants will gain practical tools, role-play experience, and outdoor skills like wood whittling and fire-building. The workshop costs $70 per family, with the option to enroll your child in the morning program for $20. Empower your child to grow through choice, exploration, and safe risk-taking in nature.

Connecting Community
Our Annual Connecting Community is back!
**Registration opens in October 2025**
The primary objective of "Connecting Community" is to create a space where outdoor program enthusiasts, educators, teachers, caregivers, and parents, can engage in shared learning, collaboration, and community-building.
Building a community has personally allowed me to become a better educator and employer, and I believe that sharing perspectives and experiences is vital to the development of a thriving community.
I hope you join us for the weekend or a day
