Birch and Bud is a gentle invitation into the world of Out & About for both children and their caregivers. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Petawawa’s rural landscape, families are welcomed into a calm, engaging forest space where little ones can begin to explore the outdoors, meet new friends, and build confidence at their own pace.
This program is designed to support early development while fostering connection—between caregiver and child, between families, and with the land. Through shared experiences and nature-based play, caregivers gain insight into child development and the rhythms of outdoor learning, all while building a strong sense of community.
Birch and Bud is the perfect first step for families looking to grow into our Fox program, laying down roots in curiosity, resilience, and joyful discovery.
