BIAK at Out & About

$0.00

We’re thrilled to welcome the BIAK EarlyON Mobile Program to Out & About!

This incredible initiative, led by Nancy Ward and supported by the Bonnechere Algonquin First Nation and the County of Renfrew Early Years Program, brings Indigenous cultural teachings and drumming to children and families across the county.

They’ll be joining us for two special visits:
🪶 Monday, July 29
🪶 Tuesday, August 6

Time: 10am-11:30am
Where: 503 Rafting Road, Foresters Falls (at the Wedding Pavilion)

This hour-and-a-half program is donation-only, and all proceeds will support our Raven Program—a free leadership program for Indigenous youth in our community.

The BIAK EarlyON Mobile program is an initiative that provides Indigenous cultural teachings and drumming to off-reserve Indigenous and non-Indigenous children, families, and caregivers throughout Renfrew County. The program aims to reconnect participants with their Indigenous roots and share their culture with a broader audience.

Come experience drumming, storytelling, the 7 Grandfather Teachings , medicine wheel, and sacred medicines. All are welcome!

Let’s learn, grow, and support together.

*Want to sign up for the full day? Visit our drop-in day schedule or register for the whole week for $325!

**Questions: outandaboutinnature@gmail.com (Arija)

For more information or to apply, interested individuals can contact Nancy Ward, the BIAK Program Manager, via email at n.ward@bell.net.
