Curious about Out & About and the programs we offer? Join us for a free, family-friendly Birch and Bud session designed to give you a feel for our outdoor, play-based programs for young children and their caregivers.

🕘 9:00–10:45 AM (please arrive between 9:00–9:20, we begin at 9:30)
📍 Jack Pine Park, Petawawa
👶 All ages welcome – parents, bring your littles or bigs of any age!
Come spend the morning with us in the forest! Families will be guided through gentle, nature-based activities like songs, stories, forest play, sensory exploration, and simple bushcraft. Children can climb, dig, build, and explore while parents connect with other caregivers and learn how our programs support child development, confidence, and community connection.
This special session offers:
A calm, welcoming space for children to play and explore at their own pace
Insight into our Fox, Wolf, and Birch & Bud programs
Opportunities to meet our educators and ask questions
A chance to experience the rhythms and routines of outdoor learning
Whether you're brand new to Out & About or thinking about joining us this summer or fall, this is a great way to experience what we're all about—together with your child.
