This gathering is designed to honour those contributions while fostering meaningful connections within the Ottawa Valley—an area where outdoor programs and play-based initiatives are flourishing and inspiring children to thrive.

As someone who began with a solo venture, I know firsthand the importance of connection and collaboration. This event was born from the desire to gather individuals who share a passion for outdoor learning and play, but who may not always have opportunities to connect with others walking a similar path.
Building community has allowed me to grow as both an educator and an employer, and I believe wholeheartedly that sharing perspectives, strategies, and experiences is vital for developing a thriving network of support.
